Our Economic Contribution
PSPA members produce five of the ten most popular seafood items consumed in the U.S. The seafood industry is a powerful economic engine for hundreds of communities, thousands of vessels, and tens of thousands of workers.
The seafood industry annually generates approximately 3.2 billion dollars in economic activity in the Pacific Northwest. A conservative approach to fisheries management continues to preserve the long-term health of the fishery resources.
