KODIAK — A representative from U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski’s office told the Kodiak Fisheries Work Group on Wednesday that pink salmon disaster relief funding is inching closer to the pockets of fishermen and processors. Ann Robinson provided KFWG with an update on the status of the pink salmon disaster relief funding, saying that the funds are just around the corner –– but that compensation for losses incurred by the community-at-large is being negotiated.
