We have two reports on how the International Pacific Halibut Commission divvied up the harvest for commercial fishermen. http://kmxt.org/2019/02/alaska-fisheries-report-feb-7-2019/ Alaska Continues to Lead Nation in Volume, Value of Commercial Landings Fishermens News - February 1, 2019 NOAA Fisheries' latest Fisheries of the United States annual national report of US fisheries shows that nationwide commercial harvesters landed 9.9 billion pounds of seafood valued at $5.4 billion in 2017. alaska was first in the nation for volume and value of its commercial landings, and for the 21st consecutive year, Dutch Harbor again led the nation as the port with the highest volume of seafood landed, a total of 769 million pounds valued at $173 million. alaska pollock made up 91.6 percent of the volume and 47.9 percent of the value.
